Tony Rock (Chris Rock’s brother) Thinks Will Should’ve Called Him

Tony Rock claims Will Smith lied about reaching out to his brother after the Oscar’s incident. Said he thinks Will should’ve called him to smooth things out.

Tony Rock has disputed Will Smith’s claim that he reached out to Chris to apologize for the Oscars incident last year. During a recent appearance on BigBoyTV, Tony stated that Smith’s claim was false and that Chris had not received any phone call from Will. Tony also added that he had hoped to receive a call from Smith to resolve the issue but it never happened.

“My phone number has never changed. So, I just thought I’d get a phone call one day like, ‘Ay, let’s just you and I just talk.’ It hasn’t happened, so I guess it’s not going to happen…”

In an earlier interview on the Top Billin’ with Bill Bellamy podcast, Tony suggested that Smith’s slap was related to Jada Pinkett Smith’s relationship with 2Pac rather than Chris’ joke about Jada’s alopecia. Tony argued that Smith had laughed at the joke before the incident occurred, which suggested that it was not the cause of his reaction.

“I think that was the accumulation of him being slapped on other levels. He said it himself, he always hated the ‘soft moniker.’ He’s soft, Jada won’t let 2Pac die, it’s always something about 2Pac and his daughter brought up 2Pac. And I’m not bringing up family stuff that people don’t know… this is stuff that everybody knows.”

It doesn’t seem like Tony is letting this go anytime soon. That’s … unfortunate.
