Maxwell Anderson Charged in the Death of 19-year-old Sade Robinson

Maxwell Anderson charged in Milwaukee for the murder and dismemberment of Sade Carleena Robinson.

Nineteen-year-old Sade Carleena Robinson, a promising student on the cusp of earning an associate degree in criminal justice, tragically became the victim of a horrific crime, authorities have confirmed. Milwaukee police have charged Maxwell S. Anderson with her murder and dismemberment, following the grim discovery of human remains in a Cudahy park on April 2—the same day Robinson was reported missing. This followed an extensive search that brought more discoveries of human remains including a dismembered leg and “flesh” in the days that followed.

Robinson, who had graduated high school a semester early and was working at Pizza Shuttle in Milwaukee, had plans to potentially join the U.S. Air Force. She is remembered by her family and community as a vibrant, compassionate individual who brought joy to those around her.

The case unfolded rapidly after Robinson was last seen with Anderson on April 1, during their first date, which included dinner and a visit to a local bar before they headed to Anderson’s home on Milwaukee’s south side. Through surveillance footage, witness accounts, and tracking of phone and car movements, investigators pieced together the events leading up to Robinson’s disappearance.

In a court appearance, the prosecution described the lengths Anderson allegedly went to in order to conceal his actions, calling the crime “abhorrent” and an act of extreme violence. During this time, the community and Robinson’s family awaited answers amidst their grief.

Robinson’s mother, Sheena Scarbrough, spoke out about her daughter’s vibrant life and untimely death, highlighting her profound loss. The family has since initiated a GoFundMe to cover funeral expenses, and the investigation continues, with authorities determined to piece together the full story of what happened to Robinson in her final hours.
