On Thursday, Megan thee Stallion announced that she’s started a $10,000 scholarship fund in partnership with Amazon Music’s hip-hop brand, Rap Rotation. The name of the scholarship is “Don’t Stop” and it will be awarded to two women of color pursuing a college education in any field of study, anywhere in the world.

“Megan is incredibly passionate about the transformative power of education and remains a strong advocate for women pursuing a college degree,” the scholarships’ application website reads.

Megan thee Stallion began to received wide commercial success last summer, at which time she coined the term ”hot girl summer”, which is a reference to independence and freedom for women to pursue their goals–including a college education.

Megan was enrolled in Texas Southern University in 2019 and often shared her experiences as a college student with her social media audience. Named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People for her contributions to Hip Hop and popular culture, in a statement to People, Megan accredited making her mother proud as the reason behind her desire to get her college degree.
