Tory Lanez is fighting back and has filed a request with the court to dismiss his conviction for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, his lawyer, renowned criminal defense attorney Jose Baez, has claimed that the prosecutors presented irrelevant evidence to “dirty him up.”

Among other things, Baez cites the submission of a shirtless photo of Tory Lanez with a firearm tattoo on his chest, which prosecutors claimed was for identification purposes, but Baez alleges was used to prejudice the jury against his client.

Baez also argues that prosecutors’ threat to present Tory’s rap lyrics to the jury was a reversible error. Tory is facing three felony firearms charges and a potential prison sentence of 22 years. Lanez’ sentencing is scheduled for next month.
