Method Man has partnered with his manager, Shauna Garr, to start a new production company named Six AM. The enterprise’s first project will be the third installment in the How High film franchise.
Six AM has already sold How High 3 to Universal 1440 Entertainment. Method Man and Redman are expected to reunite for the film.
Director Jesse Dylan’s original How High was released in 2001. The stoner flick made over $30 million at the box office and went on to become a cult classic.
2019’s How High 2 was presented as a Bruce Leddy-directed television movie for MTV, and starred rapper Lil Yachty and Wild ‘N Out comedian DC Young Fly.
The second High How received backlash from some fans of the 2001 version after Redman claimed that he and Meth didn’t even know part 2 was being made.
From a personal standpoint, How High 2 was trash, if i do say so myself..
I am most definitely looking forward to How High 3.
