Are Beyoncé  and Zendaya in talks to remake classic film ‘Imitation of Life’?

Beyonce and Zendaya are reported to be part of a remake of the 1959 classic film, Imitation of Life.

According to a report from the Sun, Beyoncé and Zendaya are in talks to star in the inconic 1959 film, Imitation of Life.

Imitation of Life, which is based on a novel written by Fannie Hurst, is about a white woman who takes in a Black widow and her light complexioned daughter, Sarah Jane. Sarah Jane’s fair skin allows her pass as white. The iconic film starred Lana Turner, Juanita Moore, and Sandra Dee and was nominated for two Academy awards.

According to reports, Beyoncé is interested in producing the remake. It is not clear whether she also intends on appearing in the film as well. Zendaya, who currently stars in the HBO hit Euphoria, is assumed to play Sarah Jane in the film.

Neither Beyoncé or Zendaya has yet to make a formal statement in response to the Sun’s report.
